Elders

Richard Keen

Serving as an elder, I am challenged and humbled by the responsibility of leading our church family spiritually, but rewarded from seeing God at work within the families here. I am proud to serve with a group of men who have dedicated their lives to God, and lead by example. I want to leave a legacy of service and commitment to Christ for my own family, and I pray it will inspire them in their Christian walk.

It is a blessing to serve you. It’s been a pure joy to witness the transformation Christ has done in the lives of so many here. I have learned that being an elder is more than leading others to a committed life of following Jesus; it’s being the first one on my knees admitting my weakness and unworthiness.

Denise and I are very thankful for our church family. We have raised three children during our time here and have been blessed beyond measure by the relationships made over the years. To serve as a shepherd in the Lord’s church is a humbling experience and one that is not taken lightly. I continually pray for wisdom, courage and boldness to enable me to serve God daily to the best of my ability. My personal goal is to grow every day to be the disciple God calls me to be by serving Him and others. Glorify Him in all we do!

Pano Poulos

I am truly honored by God and the church family for being selected to serve as a shepherd. My walk with God has been blessed by so many of you! I pray that we all look for God in our daily activities, and know that He is with us and guides us always.

Linda and I are very happy and thankful that we have the privilege to worship with the family here. I am humbled and honored to be an elder. I want to serve with love and kindness, as my Lord has taught me to do. I want to be able to laugh with my brothers and sisters, when they are joyful, and be able to cry in their sorrows. I pray the Lord will give me the guidance to be an example to all. Always teaching that all need to live in Christ and to spend eternity with Him.

Kathy and I feel grateful that we can serve others. We like to help those grieving over losses of loved ones, of marriages, or of a spiritual life. We are so humbled by the outpouring of love from our church family that we want to give back.

Harry Ware

Serving as a shepherd of this church family is a true privilege and joy. Praying with and serving families in the midst of physical, emotional and spiritual challenges is such an honor and allows us to see God at work in the lives of the families and in our own lives as well. As shepherds our desire is for our church to reach out into our community by our words and actions as broken people in a broken world showing the love of Christ.

I have been blessed to serve and grow with so many amazing children of God in this family since 1987. Robinson Avenue has helped me in so many ways during my times of need and has rejoiced with me during life’s victorious moments. This family helped my late wife, Babs and I raise our two children into Christ-serving adults. I have grown spiritually and strengthened my relationship with God through the many opportunities I have had to serve with the family here. My prayer is that I can use the gifts of each day to strive to serve Him better, love one another more, and ultimately grow my relationship with our Lord.
